Congratulations to Columbia University alumnus, Dr. Wendell Marsh (PhD '18, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies - MESAAS), on the launch of his groundbreaking new book, Textual Life: Islam, Africa, and the Fate of the Humanities. Dr. Marsh will be discussing his work, which recasts the role of knowledge in the making of a colonial and postcolonial nation, at a special event on October 10, 2025, at the Source of Knowledge in Newark, NJ.
