Standing With Congo: A Call to Action
The conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo is not a distant crisis. It has personal impacts that resonate with members of our own campus community. This event aims to raise awareness by sharing the stories of Columbians with lived experience in the region – Congolese students, members of Congo’s diverse diaspora, and Americans with deep ties to the region. They will highlight the human cost of the ongoing violence, while exploring avenues for action. Join us on Thursday, February 20 in IAB 413 for an evening of storytelling and solidarity. This event is only open to individuals with valid CUID.
