AA/Black older adults face delays to diagnosis and are less likely to receive high-quality care for Parkinson’s disease. Our team utilized a faith-informed and collaborative approach to develop the PD Movers Storybook, a tool utilizing storytelling techniques to deliver joyful, empowering and educational messages that are culturally-sensitive, interesting, engaging and create a sense of community and connection.

Bacteremia is an important source of morbidity and mortality in children with cancer, but current methods to diagnose bacteremia are limited. A novel high-throughput sequencing platform may offer a new way to more precisely and accurately diagnose bacteremia.
