Please join us in person or on Zoom this Tuesday to discuss historical and contemporary perspectives on Congo. Event “Congo in Context: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives” this Tuesday, February 18, 6:15pm-8pm, 208 Knox Hall.

In this event, regional experts will unpack recent M23 advancements in Eastern Congo. They will also examine Congo's complex past, including the militarization of the Great Lakes region and the on-and-off conflict the nation has experienced since the 1990s. Join us for a deeper understanding of the current crisis and its roots.
