Voting is fundamental to democracy, but American trust in “one person, one vote” has been compromised in recent years by Electoral College outcomes, allegations of voter suppression and voter fraud, and gerrymandering of congressional district boundaries. Voter mobilization is integral to that conversation, and we are thrilled to explore the important role that professional sports teams have to play in this effort as we look ahead to the 2024 elections. For this installment of the American Voter Project series, the Eric H. Holder Jr. Initiative for Civil and Political Rights invites you to join us for a panel discussion on the theme of "Sports & Democracy."
